Come and check out what is available in our Leadbeaters Bar & Bistro. We have an extensive menu including vegetarian options. We also use a range of gluten free products. If you have any special diet requirements, please let us know at time of booking. Rawson Village has a full cooked breakfast available in our dining room each morning. Sit down to a range of cereals, fruit, juice, toast & spreads, tea & coffee and finish off with a plate of bacon, eggs, tomato and sausage - that's what we call a hearty breakfast!
Packages:
From time to time we offer a range of packages available to motel guests. If you have a group of 5 couples or more, please ask about our Dinner, Bed & Breakfast options. Please note that conditions and minimum numbers apply to any packages offered. We also have a variety of packages available for Coach Tours; lunch packages for senior groups and dinner bed & breakfast specials. Rawson Village is an active member of a number of business groups, community organisations and associations.
Rawson Village provides the perfect base for exploring the Mountain Rivers region, with our family friendly facilities, we are only minutes away from Walhalla, Mt St Gwinear, and the Thomson Dam. On 4 June 2008 the South Face Road opened and this will enable guests staying at Rawson Village easy access to Mt Baw Baw snow fields.
Rawson Community Heated Indoor Swimming Pool:
Rawson Village also manages the heated indoor swimming pool on behalf of the Baw Baw Shire. The pool is open to the public from 1 November 2008 until April 2009. During weekends and school holidays the pool is open from 1pm to 7pm daily. Weekdays the pool is open from 4pm - 6pm. The pool can also be hired outside these hours for groups and special occassions.

Snow Information:
Please note that it is necessary to carry wheel chains to both Mt Baw Baw and Mt St Gwinear during the snow season - information on where to hire chains and the type of chains required are available at our Reception office. Handy Hint - Now that the South Face Road is open, it really does save a lot of travel time to collect your chains from Erica Ski Hire and then travel to either Mt St Gwinear or Mt Baw Baw. The South Face Road is so new that it does not appear on a lot of maps, but it will be more convenient for you to travel this route to the snow.
