Rawson Village is located in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, an easy 2 hours drive east of Melbourne near the historic gold mining town of Walhalla, the Thomson River and the mighty Thomson Dam.
The Gippsland region has so many natural attractions to offer groups visiting our region. For the winter months we are 20 minutes from Mt St Gwinear and 35 minutes from Mt Baw Baw - winter snow activities are just around the corner. Mt St Gwinear offers great bushwalking for all other times of the year.
Set on 15 acres of bushland and native gardens, with three separate function/recreational rooms, Rawson Village is the ideal location for scenic tour groups, school and music camps, family group stays, scrapbooking retreats, patchworking retreats, church retreats, corporate conventions and team building retreats, weddings, bushwalking groups, car rallies, or any other group activity.
At Rawson Village we offer a range of group accommodation styles depending upon the size of your group and/or your requirements. Please feel free to discuss your needs with our staff. Site visits are always welcome, please remember to organise a time that the area you would like to look at is available.
Our Ensuite Lodges are pefect for groups up to 114. Combined with Donnelly Lodge and Coranderrk Lodge, Rawson Village is able to accommodate in excess of 200 guests.
For groups wishing to take our whole site, ie over 250 guests, we are able to offer an additional 20 motel units. Rawson Village is able to accommodate approximately 270 - 300 guests in total.
Most groups elect to bring their own linen and towels, however, if needed we are able to supply for all guests (fee applicable).
Rawson Village offers a wide range on facilities onsite, including 3 function/recreational rooms, as well as offering a more adventurous program for those groups who would like to challenge themselves.
Rawson Village offers both fully catered and self catered facilities. We offer excellent self cater facilities for large groups.
Rawson Village is an Accredited site with the Australian Camping Association and the Better Business program.

Looking for a real outdoor camping experience, why not let Rawson Village challenge your group with a stay offsite in camping facilities. We are able to run a program around the Duke of Edinburgh requirements.
