The area surrounding Rawson Village is a haven for bushwalking groups. Rawson is an ideal base to explore this wonderful region. Of course, after a day exploring you can retreat back to Rawson Village and enjoy a fabulous meal prepared for you.

Rawson Village has been able to put together a portfolio of walks and these can be made available to groups staying with us. Here is just a sample of some of the walking maps and information sheets that we have available:
• Thomson Bridge to Poverty Point Bridge •
• East and West Tyers River Walks •
• Knotts Siding, Erica, Mathiesons Road, Coopers Creek •
• Edwards Reef & Morning Star Water Wheel •
• Rawson, Plantina, Horseshoe Tunnel, Plantina •
• Walhalla, Maiden Town, Cricket Ground •
• The Narrows to Erica Weir and O'Shea Mill •
Rawson Village is happy to provide information about activity programs, what to see, and things to do in the area, but it is the responsibility of the individual or the group leader to check the suitability of these activities for themselves or for their group.
